Abstract: The School of Animation in Free Time Ser Joven of the Community of Cantabria, has decided to formulate a Speciality in Young People with Special Educational Needs, aimed at professionals of children's and young people's free time. In the course of the formulation of the syllabus, the need has arisen to determine all those didactic strategies that will benefit and enhance the learning of each professional interested in training in the care of people with SEN. This is how the present work is developed with the aim of determining the didactic strategies in the training of Free Time professionals to work with young people with Special Educational Needs, adapted to factors such as the regulations of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, the geographical area where Cantabria is located, the objectives of each training module, as well as the resources available to the School of Animation.
