Title: Modelo de gestión de calidad para las escuelas de doctorado
Author: Murillo Gorozarri, Belén
Tutor: Velón Sixto, Luis Carlos
Abstract: This work aims to identify a quality management model that applies specifically to Doctoral Schools. The need for this objective is determined because there is currently no model or recognition aimed at this type of organisation as they do not fall under the umbrella of RD 420/2015 of 29 May on the creation, recognition, authorisation and accreditation of universities and university centres. This gap gives us the opportunity to work on a new proposal that, based on the fundamental principles of quality contained in other existing and fully implemented models, allows us to overcome the limitations identified in its conception and implementation. It should be noted that the proposed model attempts, as far as possible, to simplify the evaluation proposal, identifying the essence of a Doctoral School in order to propose a simple model that is easy to implement and, above all, useful for guaranteeing the quality of the training programmes and the research carried out.
