Abstract: Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) are physical injuries to brain tissue that temporarily or permanently alter brain function, causing motor, sensory, cognitive, emotional and behavioral alterations. TBI is the leading cause of death and disability in people under 45 years of age. This paper will study the case of a 17-year-old patient with sequelae caused by a traumatic brain injury. This is a fictitious patient based on a scientific report from the Pediatrics Service of Mexico. The neuropsychological profile of the patient shows cognitive alterations in the attentional processes, in the speed of processing, learning, and above all a great affectation of the executive functions. He shows a low awareness of deficits and problems in social skills and social cognition, with delayed language. The main objective of this Master's Thesis is to create for our patient a comprehensive and individualized multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation program, where the maximum functional performance is obtained, understanding his deficits and/or cognitive and behavioral limitations, to prevent them from affecting his daily, personal, family and social life.
