Abstract: Directing spotlights on the scenography of a show is a costly operation that implies risks for the worker due to its requirement of darkness and work at height and that displaces professionals of various profiles (age, size, balance problems, mobility, etc.) due to their physical demands. This project develops a prototype of an application for a mobile device in order to solve the problem of directing spotlights at height in a Performing Arts environment through the use of Augmented Reality. Its objective is to establish a simple, precise and secure directing process from the ground, prioritizing accessibility to create an inclusive digital tool. The method to do this is based on User-Centered Design that prioritizes usability through recursive user evaluations. Thus, a tested interactive prototype is generated that would be the starting point for a viable product.
