Abstract: The fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters on the planet and an increasing number of voices are calling for a change in its production model. In this transformation, the consumer has a relevant role to play in securing circular, sustainable and ethical alternatives. However, the transition from fast fashion towards a conscious consumption is not an easy task. In this context, this project arises to conceptualize and design a mobile application that allows people who are interested in consuming in a sustainable and responsible way to initiate that transition and those who have already started the journey, to continue to deepen it. Thus, based on the User Centered Design (UCD) and Design Thinking methodologies and with an iterative process, AWARE has been designed: an app that provides users with the information and tools necessary to face the challenges they will encounter when it comes to changing habits, reducing clothing consumption, extending the useful life of their garments, correctly disposing of what they no longer use and, ultimately, actively participate in the transformation of the industry.
