Abstract: This Master's thesis in Cultural Management aims to evaluate the economic impact that the stable performing arts programme of the Teatro Casa de la Música has on the municipality of Carboneras, as well as how this impact is perceived by the population, audiences and hotel and catering entrepreneurs. Research into the economic impact of culture has mainly focused on cultural institutions located in large cities or events held in a very short period of time. In this work we evaluate the cultural impact of the annual programme of a small theatre and the social perception of the impact generated social perception of the impact generated. The data have been obtained through the collection of objective information from the City Council and the contracted companies, and through a questionnaire applied to hoteliers and the public who bought their tickets online. The results show that there is an economic impact of the Teatro Casa de la Música de Carboneras which coincides with those obtained by other studies and that this impact is perceived positively by the majority of the public and hotel and restaurant owners.
