| Abstract: | Institutional Repositories are a new element in the university environment in terms of scientific communication and digital presence of the production of the universities. But the quickly evolving digital environment, as well as the various actors involved in scientific publication. The most significant change in web communication in recent years has been the emergence of services subsumed under the label Web 2.0 that includes various link sharing services, digital objects, managing relationships, information reuse, etc. Some scientific journals are already offering such services. This study analyzes the degree of implementation of such services in the field of Spanish institutional repositories. Firstly, the types of services considered 2.0 are identified and it's analysed if these can be useful for scientific communication. Secondly, it's analyzed which of these possibilities are offered by the repositories. Finally, the results for the actions taken are discussed and possible lines of improvement are identified. |
