Title: El sector hotelero en China : el fenómeno "low cost" en la nueva clase urbana

Abstract: This work is justified by the complementarity that offers, on the one hand the potential and volume of a thriving market as Chinese urban areas, where his budding maturity, as a result of the drag effect that foreign investment - very intense - has had, thus facilitating the emergence of a demand of a higher level, not primary, as the activities under leisure and tourism. On the other hand, because of a business proposal within a sector with high expectations for development such as tourism and, finally, also the choice of a kind of consumption based on the price factor, with a certain socio-economic characteristics of demand and in which the urban society of China is beginning to be reflected. Beyond the traditional role of China as a beneficial process in the production chain or volume market outputs, a new urban middle class it is being drawn, that it is being fitted in a short time in the dynamics of global consumption, based on new technologies - where low cost production process draws much of its development -.
