Sistema de representació per una web 3.0.

Abstract

En la web, hi ha una gran quantitat de coneixement desorganitzat i molt heterogeni. Tal com està construïda ara mateix la web, es possible que el coneixement sobre un camp estigui dispers per varis recursos de la web. Una forma d'intentar inferir coneixement de recursos diferents sense intervenció humana, seria creant programes intel·ligents que interpretessin la informació de les diferents fonts. Aquesta solució seria costosa i seria tot un repte fer-ho. D'altra banda, també hi ha la idea, d'acompanyar els continguts amb representació d'ells mateixos, (una representació estandarditzada), que permetés crear autentiques xarxes de coneixement per les quals un programa intel·ligent podria inferir coneixement molt mes fàcilment. El propòsit d'aquest projecte és aprofundir sobre aquesta última proposta, que afegeix coneixement a la web. Per fer-ho coneixerem una eina proposada per afegir significat a la web, l'OWL. Investigarem les seves característiques, i la seva base i entendrem perquè i com s'utilitza. També es presentaran diferents eines per treballar amb OWL. Finalment es presentarà una web semàntica a mode d'exemple.

En la web, hay una gran cantidad de conocimiento desorganizado y muy heterogéneo. Tal y como está construida ahora mismo la web, es posible que el conocimiento sobre un campo esté disperso por varios recursos de la web. Una forma de intentar inferir conocimiento de recursos diferentes sin intervención humana, sería creando programas inteligentes que interpretaran la información de las diferentes fuentes. Esta solución sería costosa y sería todo un reto hacerlo. Por otro lado, también está la idea, de acompañar los contenidos con representación de ellos mismos, (una representación estandarizada), que permitiera crear auténticas redes de conocimiento por las que un programa inteligente podría inferir conocimiento mucho más fácilmente. El propósito de este proyecto es profundizar sobre esta última propuesta, que añade conocimiento al web. Para ello conoceremos una herramienta propuesta para añadir significado a la web, OWL. Investigaremos sus características, y su base y entenderemos por qué y cómo se utiliza. También se presentarán diferentes herramientas para trabajar con OWL. Finalmente se presentará una web semántica a modo de ejemplo.

On the web, there are a lot of disorganized and heterogeneous knowledge. As it is now built the web, it is possible that the knowledge on a field is being scattered in several resources on the web. One way to try to infer knowledge of different resources without human intervention, it would be creating intelligent programs to interpret information from different sources. This solution would be costly and it would be a challenge. On the other hand, there is the idea of accompanying the content with a representation of themselves, (a standard representation), that would create genuine knowledge networks through which an intelligent knowledge could be inferred much more easily. The purpose of this project is to deepen on this latest proposal, which adds knowledge to the web. For that purpose we will introduce a tool to add meaning to the web, OWL. We will investigate its characteristics and its base and we will understand why and how it is used. Also different tools for working with OWL will be showed. Finally, a semantic web will be presented as example.
