Title: Pla d'empresa BidMarket

Abstract: In this work, a business plan for BidMarket is drawn up. BidMarket is an entrepreneurial venture that provides electronic trading solutions for corporate purchasing departments, so that the sourcing process is simplified and the total cost of supply is reduced. The services that BidMarket provides are based on a web application of its own design. This application is being implemented with the cutting edge web development technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, angular.js). BidMarket main line of business is to offer an electronic reverse auctions service to corporate purchasing departments. BidMarket business model is based on charging a commission on the savings generated by the auction. Apart from the main line of business, other lines of business exist such as renting or leasing its web application to some business schools where Purchasing Management courses are taught. This is a strategic business line because of the brand awareness that is generated. The main key success factors for this project are the quality of the web application, an appropriate use of some company resources, such as contacts, a strategy to penetrate the market quickly and efficiently (in order take advantage of the current window of opportunity), an appropriate marketing strategy and clear guidance and customer excellence. With a well-balanced founder team I have always had the perception that BidMarket might be, under good management, a very profitable project. The main results provided by the current work confirm the initial perceptions of the founding team: BidMarket is a low risk project, given that the initial required investment required is low. In addition, once the web application it is finished, the operation and marketing are simple processes. On the other hand, BidMarket is a high returns project as pointed out by the financial forecasts that have been made in the financial plan. The conclusion, in short, is the confirmation of the technical and economic viability of BidMarket.
