Open atlas del sistema de sanidad pública de Cataluña

Abstract

Este proyecto consiste en la implementación de un servidor de mapas y un visor web de mapas para mostrar a través de un portal los indicadores de salud publicados por la Generalitat de Catalunya con el objetivo de mostrarlos en un contexto geográfico de manera que el usuario pueda interactuar de manera sencilla tanto con los mapas como con los indicadores de salud.

Aquest projecte consisteix en la implementació d'un servidor de mapes i un visor web de mapes per mostrar a través d'un portal dels indicadors de salut publicats per la Generalitat de Catalunya amb l'objectiu de mostrar-los en un context geogràfic de manera que l'usuari pugui interactuar de manera senzilla tant amb els mapes com amb els indicadors de salut.

The use of Geographic Information Systems have become very important in recent years in the scope of data analysis since they are capable of enhancing the interpretation of data by providing a geographic component that in some cases could explain the causes of the results. With this foundation and taking into account the importance that GIS play in the health sector because they are able to identify areas of risk or investment justify health spending, this project aims to apply GIS to health indicators to create a product based on open source applications which places on the map the health indicators openly published by Generalitat de Catalunya.
