Title: La comtessa Duoda i la seva època reflectides al Liber Manualis

Abstract: This work explores historically the Carolingian Empire of 9th century in order to find elements that help us to interpret the Countess Duoda's words. This work examines Duoda's Liber manualis not only as an educational manual for his son William, but also as a manual that allows a sociological and historical analysis of this period in order to understand why Duoda understands her life like she does, and why insists on certain aspects and not others. To make this work, it have been used the historiographical practice named microhistory with qualitative methodology by its documentary analysis.
