Abstract: The theory of agenda-setting is one of the most widely accepted theories in modern communication. The first levels of theory, speaking of the decisionmaking process and how these can influence the public, are the subject of this dissertation. Moreover, the sports press is the kind of press over Spain followed by the general audience. So, join two concepts that will lead to research that responds to the question about the role of sports media in shaping public opinion.
