Abstract: The research project on information technologies and communication and the changes on the Catalan companies analyzes the relationship between strategy, organization and business practices and the uses of information and communication technologies in Catalan companies. From a survey in a representative sample of 2,038 companies in Catalonia, segmented by sector and size, this research obtained conclusive evidence of the creation process of the network company in Catalonia, as well as the relationship between investment and digital innovation applications and their positive impact on productivity, wages and international competitiveness of the Catalan companies.
