Title: El consumo de arándanos y frutas ricas en compuestos fenólicos antioxidantes como fuente de sustancias activas en la prevención primaria del cáncer

Abstract: In recent years, clinical, molecular and epidemiological research has led to improvements in prevention, detection and treatment, as well as in alternative therapies against cancer. Today, we conceived the idea of the protective effect of rich fruit consumption In bioactive compounds for health as beneficial, and components with a great potential in the prevention of certain disorders have been identified. Therefore, the composition and antioxidant capacity of cranberries justify their role in the reduction of inflammation and oxidative stress, processes highly related not only to the development of cancer, but also to the consequences of the therapies associated with it. In this way, both this fruit and its compounds in pharmacological formulations have been incorporated into the diet through different dietary supplements.
