Abstract:
In 1985 the French government signed a contract with the Walt Disney Company to install an amusement park in Europe. This represents the landing of American culture in the middle of Europe, in the Ville Nouvelle of Marne la Vallée, making this area the main engine European tourism. In the present work we discover what are the economic and cultural implications of this and how they respond to the peoples concerned.
