Abstract: The UOC Library piloted an e-reader consultation and loan service during October to December 2009. This project was developed in line with the UOC's commitment to technological innovation applied to university learning and education and its intention to promote the use of e-readers and e-books as an extension to UOC 5.0 Campus Technology in support of student learning. We describe the pilot project and analyse and evaluate results in terms of strong and weak points and possible improvements.
