Abstract: In order to explore the intellectual profile of the new generations, research was carried out with young Mexican high school students. The work was based on Joan Ferrés' theory, which describes the characteristics of the generation of the spectacle, as a result of early exposure to technology and a socialization process in which images and sensory stimuli that impact the cognitive development of young people abound. To explore the intellectual style of young people, the theory of multiple intelligences proposed by Howard Gardner was taken as a reference and the results of two questionnaires were applied and analyzed. One of the questionnaires was about the perception of self-efficacy in terms of intelligence, and the other was about the level of digital culture. Through young people¿s perception of self-efficacy, a multiple intelligences profile was identified from among the clusters developed for the study. This profile showed that young people with higher levels of both digital and face-to-face activity demonstrated high self-perception in six of the eight intelligences. In addition, different digital activity and outstanding intelligence profiles were found in the groups denominated as actives, passives and selectives in relation to the use of technology.
