Abstract: In this paper, is analysed how the best U.S. hospitals use social media to promote a healthy lifestyle, in particular a healthy diet. The most used media are websites, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and blogs, and the use made of these media ranges from the promotion of healthy diets, to nutritional advice in general or in case of illness or pregnancy.
