Abstract: missing data will always be present and it is demonstrated that this may bias the results obtained. This situation is usually under control in large and well structured clinical research in order to avoid loss of time and money, but in a small scale, this situation is not usually contemplated. For this reason, a demonstration of the importance of dealing with missing data is mandatory.
