Abstract: This end-of-degree work is based on the capture and monitoring of noise, light and atmospheric pollution data in cities using the Arduino and the sensors and actuators interface platform Sentilo. With Arduino components, the data is captured and sent to Sentilo REST API through the Ethernet or WiFi network. Sentilo publishes data on the web and, if any threshold is exceeded, sends alert messages to the actuators, implemented with Arduino, using a publication / subscription mechanism. Actuators process alerts and display information and/or restriction messages on public information displays.
