Author: Pérez i Brufau, Roger

Abstract: This paper aims to analyse the main metaphors used by the users to refer to the Internet and the activities and people related to the network. Our analysis will move under the terms of the theory defended mainly by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson in all his works, although it will require special attention the 1980 work "Metaphors we live by".
