Abstract: this document aims to explain the stock market development in contrast with headlines and news data. For doing this, sentiment analysis and time series analysis along with other approaches are used. After the analysis of the performance, it is going to be proven that there is no strong evidence, with the available data, to show a clear common trend between headlines and the stock index.
