| Abstract: | The question of national identity is filled in volumes of sociology, history, anthropology and political science specific literature. Although there is no an agreement on the definition of national identity and we could argue that reaching an agreement on what it means, we should first agree on what we mean when we talk about identity and nation or national. Fortunately, there are many scholars dedicated to find out about it. We will review the theories which have described different ways of understanding what is meant by national identity. |
