Abstract: Information management is intended to ensure adequate attention to documents created, received or managed by an organization as an evidence of its activities, preserving them as long as necessary. This course aims to provide the knowledge and skills needed to analyze, design and implement a document management system. For this reason, it is focused on the document management of the documents produced by an organization as a result of its processes and activities, reviewing the operations and specific instruments which allow to control in a systematic way the incorporation (creation or receipt), register, classification, storage , access, traceability and final provision (disposal or permanent preservation) of documents.
