Abstract: Higher computer engineering courses study the technical and methodological aspects of computer project management. But one quickly sees one of the most important and determinant factors of the projects: the human factor. This project complements the knowledge seen on project management through a study on how the human aspect affects the development of a computer project. The project undertaken acts as a manual to find out the workings of a computer project team and as a guide to being able to manage a team of these characteristics. The work completed allows us to know why a computer project team may work, what individual and group factors exist, what its participants are and what their functions are, how they organize themselves, problems that may arise and tips and strategies for achieving an efficient team. At the same time, the project is complemented by a series of experiences of people who play or who have played various roles in different computer project teams, which help to understand and identify the objective studied.
