Abstract: The present project is about the design, development and prototyping of a multiprotocol M2M Gateway for IoT applications based on Arduino, Raspberry PI and the use of open source software. The objective is to offer interconnection, bidirectional communication and acquisition of information from nodes that use different communication protocols through the use of connectors, manage the persistence of information in a local database and allow interoperability through the use of a REST API and the publication of data in a cloud service.
