Abstract: The social criticism in the film world is considered, even as an own format issue. Today in the television series does not exist, as such, said gender. This work, that takes as its starting point the American television The Wire series, analyzes the characteristics that make a series of fiction a possible instrument of social denunciation. In this case in particular, putting the focus on corruption.
