Abstract: End-of-grade work respecting the influence of terrorism in our society and the feelings it generates, focusing on the factors that most influence the fear verses terrorism, and making special mention of the indirect victims of it. The influence of certain factors on the sensation of fear and being a victim of terrorism is studied, as well as whether terrorist attacks that are close geographically or temporarily can influence the increase of these sensations. It also discusses the importance of the media in these sensations, as well as the propaganda of terrorist organizations. Finding out whether terrorism succeeds in its goal of provoking the maximum possible number of victims, beyond the direct ones, and the introduction of indirect victims is a capital issue at work.
