Abstract: Internet of Things (IoT or Internet of Things) and M2M (Machine to Machine), is being introduced more and more in our lives. It is also changing the way companies do business. The need to optimize processes, improve communication, differentiate itself from the competition or even rethink business models, has made more and more companies think about technology and products such as IoT and M2M to achieve their goals. The current proposal that I put forward, aims to implement M2M technology on machines manufactured in UBS (United Barcode Systems) company in which I work today, UBS are manufacturers of high resolution Inkjet printers, equipment of printing and application of labels, Thermal Inkjet systems, consumables and Software. The objective is to be able to remotely monitor the operation of printing equipment with Inkjet technology using an embedded system and WiFi connectivity, with the main objective of reducing maintenance costs and optimizing the operating time of their machines clients.
