Abstract: In the practice of continuous swimming, the speed and pace are used as metrics to know how a swimmer has performed on a certain course. These metrics are taken into consideration in order to prepare sport events and to improve on a personal level. Currently, the most common procedure used by coaches to manage the training sessions with their students is to record the times they get with a stopwatch and write them down manually. This process is tedious and it is usually difficult to maintain an organized data structure and obtain a global view of the evolution of students over time. To make the task of these coaches easier and more efficient, a system consisting of a mobile application and a web application is developed in this project. The first one allows each trainer to keep a record of his students, classify them in groups and record the training sessions in real time. The second one allows both the coach and the students to see the statistics and results of the sessions held.
