Abstract: Cardiovascular problems are frequent, and happen earlier, in patients with DM1. They are considered as the first cause of death of those patients. There is not enough information on which are the determinant factors. The diagnosis has the extra difficulty that problems happen in young people, and do need a close medical follow up for long time. Based on AI techniques, as Machine Learning, it has been presented a model to be able to predict the risk of a cardiovascular injury. It can be used to recommend a patient do more exhaustive analysis, as get a Multidetector Computed Tomography (MDCT). The work also shows a list of analysis recommended, and in which order, to help with the diagnosis.
