Title: Avaluació i pronòstic de les alteracions cognitives i afectives després d'un Ictus Minor

Abstract: Stroke is a cerebrovascular disease (CVD), which affects 15 million people around the world annually and it is the main cause of disability and the second leading cause of dementia in adult population. Cognitive and affective complications may occur, being depression and apathy, are the most frequent. The aim of the study is evaluate and estimate the prevalence of depression, apathy and the cognitive impairment after suffering a minor stroke. We carried out a study, prospective observational longitudinal of patients who suffered a Minor Stroke and were admitted to the Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova de Lleida. It was performed a basal visit 15 days post-stroke where they were applied different scales and test to evaluate the cognitive and affective disorders.
