Author: Álvarez-Ossorio Bas, Elena
Tutor: Acosta García, Pablo
Abstract: In this essay I am analyzing the role of imagination as agent in the transformative processes starting from the visionary experience of Carl Gustav Jung based on his book The Red Book. I am also exploring the relationship between a border experience and the creative process as well as the conditions possibility for a new vision. For that  purposes I am reviewing  the Jungian imaginal statement in the context of the  Hermeneutics symbol during the xx century. My conclusion is that the imagination has a go-between nature that helps enhancing the perception and articulates our relationship with the world.
