Title: La restricción sociocultural: Implicaciones y representationces en Historias de cronopios y de famas de Julio Cortázar
Author: González Godino, Cecilia

Abstract: The term restriction has populated the political, economic, social and cultural studies under very different names (censorship, border, limit and constriction, among others), in most of which it has been defined by opposition to freedom or creativity. However, although numerous historical and cultural representations have overcome this opposition, the restriction scheme has always remained in the background despite being the cause and effect of the sociocultural structures that restrict the individual. For this reason, this work was proposed to delve into the binomial restriction-creation in order not only overcome the opposition of both terms, but also transcend this linear relationship to formulate a cyclical scheme that shows the restriction as an element of submission to the pair what engine of change. Thus, the socio-cultural products born within said restriction will be represented in a complete, lasting and transversal way. Through Julio Cortázar's Historias de cronopios and famas, which will serve as an empirical case and application of this system, new spaces for the representation of society, new sociocultural visions and new areas of creation will be opened, all cause and effect of the restriction.
