Abstract: The work consists of a web application, which controls a system of particle counters. Through the IoT (Internet of Things) technology, the communication between the counters and the application has been developed. It consists of the visualization in real time of the level of particles read by the counters, a record of all the actions of the user, a record of the alarms of the counters and the option to consult the historical values of particle level, alarms and events. The Modbus TCP industrial protocol has been used to communicate the counters with an IoT gateway, which is the device that reads the data and sends it to the cloud using the MQTT protocol. There has also been a market study, where the different suppliers and the state of the art have been studied. It has been decided to use Siemens hardware (Gateway IoT2040) and a virtual machine from Amazon Web Services. A calculation of the budget of this project and a viability analysis has been made. Finally, some conclusions and possible future work were drafted in order to improve the solution.
