Abstract: This final degree project has consisted of the development of a firmware for the SAMB11 Bluetooth module from the manufacturer Microchip. A series of functionalities have been developed so that it can be used as a beacon in a tourist cavity and serve as a reference to a guide application for visitors. In a complementary way, an application has been developed for the iOS platform that serves as a configuration tool and allows changing the parameters of the Bluetooth device, such as the frequency of data transmission, the power or the identifier of the device, in addition to enabling firmware update over the air or restart the device.
