Abstract: Open water swimming is increasingly popular in our country, but this sport has a risk factor that is increased depending on the state of the aquatic environment. For this reason, it is advisable to swim accompanied whenever possible. Despite this, due to incompatibilities in time, distance or level, some swimmers choose to swim alone, assuming the potential risks of the activity. The idea of this project arises from a personal need to facilitate contact between open water swimmers so that they can swim in groups, thus reducing risks and promoting the social side of this sport. The aim of this project is to develop the contents and the graphic interface of a mobile application that offers the necessary resources to the community of swimmers to swim in open waters together according to their proximity and personal preferences. In order to achieve this, it is developed by applying the user-centered design methodology, in order to create a product that meets the needs and expectations of its users, guaranteeing a user-friendly experience with the least possible effort. The result obtained is NedeM, the Hi-Fi semi-operative prototype of a multiplatform mobile application to find partners to swim in open waters. In conclusion, the applied methodology has been crucial to achieve planned objectives. Although some improvements are suggested in the future, this project is considered resolved successfully.
