Abstract: The psychopathic personality continues evoking debates and conceptual controversies in the clinical and criminological context that need to be clarified. Within this framework, the figure of the so-called socialized or integrated psychopaths, who strip this personality of its negative label related to deviant behavior and delinquency, breaks out. The present work seeks to carry out an approach from critical Criminology and propose a link between the characteristics of integrated psychopathy and the negative values emanating from the socioeconomic order of capitalism. We analyze this association in order to motivate a future empirical research capable of relating capitalism as a relevant risk factor of the psychopathic personality.
