Title: La influència de l'estil comunicatiu d'una persona amb pluridiscapacitat: com afecta a la seva qualitat de vida i relació familiar
Author: Sánchez Funes, Raquel

Abstract: The effect of the communication style of a person with multiple disabilities is investigated in this article. Family support, in the life of a person who has significant limitations, will increase their quality of life and also facilitate the understanding of their behavior. This is a key factor in the use of AACs (augmentative or alternative communication system). Through two communicative panels with pictograms related to emotions and daily habits, MJ has been able to show how she expresses and understands what is asked of her. In spite of everything there are factors that indicate that although these systems enjoy a great utility, they are not equally reliable for everybody and most of the times, the attention received, by the environment, has a much more fundamental role.
