Abstract

El present treball final de grau consisteix a una aplicació web dirigida a empreses d'assistència en carretera. Actualment, quan hi ha un accident o incidència en carretera, els clients es comuniquen mitjançant la linea telefònica amb l'operador per indicar les dades d'ubicació i sol·licitar els serveis d'assistència que necessita. Malauradament, en ocasions, aquestes dades arriben incorrectament a l'operador i/o l'empresa d'assistència. A més, en cas de disputa entre companyies asseguradores, poder obtenir imatges en el moment de l'accident pot ser molt útil per esbrinar qui n'és responsable. Aquest treball final de grau pretén donar solució a aquests inconvenients mitjançant una aplicació que permet ubicar alertes en un mapa i establir un xat amb l'operador que permet enviar imatges. Per dur a terme aquest projecte s'ha desenvolupat una aplicació amb Angular, utilitzant Firebase com a Backend as a Service, que proporciona eines com l'autenticació d'usuaris i base de dades en temps real.

Actualmente, cuando hay un accidente o incidencia en carretera, los clientes se comunican mediante la linea telefónica con el operador para indicar los datos de ubicación y solicitar los servicios de asistencia que necesita. Desgraciadamente, en ocasiones, estos datos llegan incorrectamente al operador y/o la empresa de asistencia. Además, en caso de disputa entre compañías aseguradoras, poder obtener imágenes en el momento del accidente puede ser muy útil para averiguar quién es responsable. Este trabajo final de grado pretende dar solución a estos inconvenientes mediante una aplicación que permite ubicar alertas en un mapa y establecer un chat con el operador que permite enviar imágenes. Para llevar a cabo este proyecto se ha desarrollado una aplicación con Angular, utilizando Firebase como Backend as a Service, que proporciona herrramientas como la autenticación de usuarios y base de datos en tiempo real.

This final degree project consists of a web application aimed at road assistance companies. Nowadays, when there is an accident or incident on the road, the clients communicate over the telephone line with the operator to indicate the location and to request the assistance services they need. Occasionally, this information arrives incorrectly at the operator and/or the assistance company. Furthermore, in the event of a dispute between insurance companies, being able to obtain images at the time of the accident may be very useful for finding out who has been responsible. This project is intended to provide a solution to these problems with an application that allows sending alerts to be placed on a map and a chat that enables attached images to be sent to the operator. To accomplish this project, I have developed an application with Angular framework, using Firebase as a Backend as a Service, which provides users authentication and real time database. Technical goals have been achieved since this application accomplishes the specific requirements commented above. And for the personal goals, I have widening my programming knowledge with a frontend language such as Angular. As a personal conclusion, after many years of backend development, the frontend approach is very different and brings us paradigms that I have needed to adapt. The learning curve has been hard at first but it has been satisfying to be able to work with other schemes that come out of my mental frame.
