Abstract: The purpose of this work is the creation of a content distribution network platform (CDN) and the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages that this that it has.. Nowadays and thanks to the reach and diffusion that the internet has, it is easier to get any type of content to any place of the planet. Simply the fact of publish something on a web page such as a newspaper news, the article of a blog or a photo, will be accessible by everyone in a few moments later. The increase in the use of smartphones is facilitating that the consumption of multimedia contents grows exponentially day after day. The platform is designed to that any company can carry out its implementation and in this way accelerate the delivery of content to its users. On the other hand, it is an autonomously orchestrated platform that will grow and decrease according to the needs of the moment, avoiding constantly having an oversized infrastructure capable of absorbing the peaks of traffic that can be generated in a timely manner by any multimedia content of great interest, which It will also help to lower the cost of Infrastructure. All software used is free and without any cost, although there are paid versions / subscriptions that provide support or facilities in some of the tasks performed.
