Abstract: Electronic evidence can be fragile by nature, that is, it can be altered, manipulated or destroyed through improper handling or examination. Therefore, it is vitally important to be meticulous during the process of capturing electronic evidence, since, if not handled properly, they may be invalid in a judicial process. All digital evidence has to be truthful and authentic, so there is no better way to prove it than by capturing it as it is. The objective of this TFM is to generate legally valid evidence on web pages, complying with current regulations and good expert work on electronic evidence, in order to demonstrate that certain contents were published at a certain time, demonstrating their authenticity. In this TFM, the necessary requirements have been analyzed and a system for capturing electronic evidence from web pages has been developed, in order to provide them as evidence in an investigation and ensuring their integrity at all times, making use of the seal of time.
