Title: Ingeniería Kansei, el valor del diseño emocional
Author: Flores España, Carlos Javier
Director: Giménez, Ferran
Tutor: Casacuberta Bagó, Judit
Abstract: This work investigates the use of human emotions applied to the design of user experience (UX). Starting from a theoretical vision of emotional design, Kansei Engineering will be made known as its maximum exponent and the semantic differential method as a tool for extracting the underlying hedonic factors behind the behavior of users. In addition, a practical proposal for evaluating web interfaces is presented. Through this practical study we try to extract the emotions that on a homogeneous population evoke diverse sites through their basic design elements. This practice will be supported by a Kansei database, so the results obtained should be similar to those established.
