Abstract: From a constructivist approach to educational assessment, this paper addresses the complexity that represents by the teacher the evaluation of the skills developed by students. This article attempts to demystify this type of assessment and identifies the characteristics that should be considered to present a best practice assessment, given that the context is the e-learning. It also identifies some technology tools that can be useful when planning evaluation in virtual learning environments.
