Abstract: Emerging trends aim to open the way to a new educational paradigm, with the aim of improving and updating pedagogical practice. The BreakoutEdu, strategy under study of this research, is a serious game based on the escape rooms, which implies the cognition-emotion binomial, thus fitting with the principles of educational neuroscience. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of the BreakoutEdu resource, in relation to the skills associated with the "learn to learn" competition in primary school students of a concerted school in Terrassa (Barcelona).
