Author: Vila Masjoan, Montserrat

Abstract: In this work of the end of degree we analyze the cases in which a prepositional syntagma can do the function of predicative complement in the sentence. To do this, we explain what are the differences between the plot predicative complement and verbal regime supplement (CRV) when they are introduced by the preposition "de". We also explain how we can differentiate the predicative complement function from that of the circumstantial complement in a way, when both complements present the form of prepositional syntagma. On the other hand, we delimit the compulsory predicative complement function referred to the subject in the form of a prepositional syntagma of the attribute, when it also presents this form. And finally, we explained the pronominalisation of the predicative additions studied. Based on the analysis we have done, we set out the mechanisms to distinguish predicative add-ons in the form of a prepositional syntagma of the other types of add-ons.
