This dataset records translations and reviews of foreign works published in Spanish or Latin American modernist journals (understanding 'Modernist' in the anglophone sense). Thus it currently includes all translations and reviews from the following journals:
La Revista (Barcelona) from 1915 to 1936; the second period of Proa (Buenos Aires) from 1924 to 1926, and Sur (Buenos Aires) from 1931 to 1939.
The dataset will be expanded to include more Iberoamerican journals in the future.

The dataset has been compiled in 2017 at the Open University of Catalonia as part of the R+D Project "Mapping International Hispanic Modernity. Cross-border Literary Networks and Cultural Mediators (1900-1945)" (FFI2016-76055-P), funded by the Spanish Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad.
