Abstract: This project has been carried out to define the telecommunications installation of a hotel in order to achieve an ICT (Common Telecommunications Infrastructure) of the building that improves the management and control of its energy efficiency. The definition of the facilities has been made to provide quality service to the client, and for a better control and management of the energy efficiency by the employees. The development of the project has taken into account that this is a hypothetical hotel of medium quality with many amenities, located in Arenys de Mar, on a plot of 520m2 for the 24 rooms spread over 4 floors. Apart from complying with the applicable regulations, the project¿s memory has been based on the UNE EN 15232 standardization to develop the infrastructure and components needed to improve the energy efficiency of the building. To achieve the project goals, IoT (Internet of Things) equipment, actuators and sensors has been used for the control and management of electrical installations, HVAC and lighting installations. In addition, each of the communication systems have been developed to provide Wi-Fi, fibre optic, telephony, television and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) as the main structure for interconnecting the entire building. All facilities have been plotted to identify the systems described. In conclusion, a telecommunications infrastructure has been developed to equip the intelligence building which has resulted in a smart building.
