Title: Informació ciutadana. L'evolució en la comunicació dels moviments socials per transformar l'agenda mediàtica i les rutines periodístiques
Author: Torrijos Marchante, Rosa
Tutor: Benach Pascual, Ernest
Abstract: Social action movements have found in digital tools an open space that allows them to organise themselves and transmit content autonomously. Citizens with no other mediation than social networks and mobile applications can generate public debates with a global reach and in real time. The aim of this work was to establish the evolution that social movements have made in the empowerment of the network and in the generation of information of public interest, until it has become a primary source for the media. At the same time, we looked at how the actions of these groups are producing changes in the media agenda and in established journalistic routines.
